And at the centuries-old Tower of London, there was a second salute with 62 guns.

The Queen Elizabeth was born on April 21, 1926 in Bruton Street in central London when Calvin Coolidge was United States president and Joseph Stalin had just taken control of the Soviet Union.

The Queen may have visited more countries than any other British royal (rumoured to be more than 116 nations), but she doesn't even have a passport to collect stamps in.
