On 11 June 2016, Princess Charlotte and Prince George looked adorable when watching the world-renowned military parade to mark the official 90th birthday of HM the Queen.

It said: "The Duke and Duchess are very pleased to share this photograph as they celebrate Princess Charlotte's second birthday".

She has blue-grey eyes and seems amused in the photo, which was taken outside in April.

The young princess is wearing a fluffy yellow cardigan decorated with sheep, and a clip in her hair.

She is also known as Princess Charlotte of Cambridge.

Princess Charlotte is expected to make headlines again later this month as a bridesmaid at her aunt Pippa Middleton's wedding.

The Twitter account for the couple's royal residence, Kensington Palace, shared the photo along with a note from William and Catherine.

Of course, we've been hoping the royals would post some stunning pics they way they did for Prince George's second birthday. One of the most recent was a Christmas Day outing to church near her grandparents', Carole and Michael Middleton, home in the village of Bucklebury, The Telegraph reported.

Another notable appearance was during the family's tour of Canada, where she was seen several times including at a children's party in Victoria, British Colombia. Happy almost-birthday, Princess Charlotte!

Are we the only ones who can not believe Princess Charlotte is already two years old? They are especially important royal kids because they are the closest to the throne, but they have been relatively sheltered from public view by their careful parents, who have been living hours away from London in Norfolk.

Does it feel like the little princess just grew up in an instant to you? She was named Charlotte Elizabeth Diana in a tribute to her grandmother Diana, Princess of Wales, and her great- grandmother - Queen Elizabeth II.

He will start school in September.
