The oft-delayed South Park: The Fractured But Whole finally has a new release date - which sounds weird when you think about it. This was revealed with a brand new trailer: "The Farting Vigilante". The game is the direct sequel to South Park: The Stick of Truth. You'll be able to equip your character with different gear and weapons, which in turn will affect your stats and abilities in battle.

The game comes to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC this October 17th.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole will be available on the 17th October. There are six episodes in the new season due to come out before The Fractured But Whole, more than enough time for one or several prequel episodes to the video game.

With crime on the rise in South Park, the streets have never been more risky. As previously detailed at E3 2016, Cartman wants to create a franchise for his Coon & Friends superhero group. What's even better, if you pre-order the digital version, you will get a download code of The Fractured But Whole at launch!

Players take the role of the New Kid, with super powers including time-bending farts.

Pre-orders will also unlock an exclusive "in-game assistant" - Towelie. They weren't great episodes, but that doesn't preclude South Park from turning a DC into a Marvel in Season 21. There will also be a revamped looting and crafting system that will give players freedom to craft their own crime fighting equipment.
