Tiger Woods can't follow simple instructions during a dazed and disoriented encounter with police in dash-cam footage that Jupiter released Wednesday night. Woods told officers he was recovering from surgery.

Woods, who had his fourth back surgery in three years on April 20, has not played since February 2 in Dubai when he withdrew after the first round because of back spasms.

"Now that one is, too", the officer adds.

He told police he had taken several prescriptions.

"I'm placing you under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence", the officer says.

In the incident report filed by the four officers at the scene, Woods kept dozing off even after his initial contact with police.

The FDA warning for Vicodin says it "may impair the mental and/or physical abilities required for the performance of potentially hazardous tasks such as driving a auto or operating machinery; patients should be cautioned accordingly".

According to the arrest report, Woods was found asleep at the wheel of his Mercedes-Benz, which was stopped in a bicycle lane in the southbound lanes of Military Trail, just south of Indian Creek Parkway, when officers arrived shortly after 2 a.m. Monday. Along with right blinker flashing, the brake lights were still on.

In video from Florida's Jupiter Police Department, gone is his confident strut on the golf course - instead replaced by a man struggling to walk and stand on one leg.

In addition, police described fresh damage to the driver's side of the auto - both tyres were flat, along with minor damage to the rims.

The first backup officer to arrive wrote in his report that Woods was swaying upon getting out of the vehicle.

"It's your other shoe that's untied", the officer says as Woods unties the laces.

During a field sobriety test, Woods swayed as he straddled the white line and could not take a step in the heel-to-toe method. He was released later on his own recognizance. He was cited for DUI and improper parking, and will be arraigned on July 5. He also has trouble following directions and reciting the alphabet. He was alone in the auto. He has won 14 majors, the last one the U.S. Open in 2008 at Torrey Pines just one week before his fourth knee surgery, which sidelined him for almost nine months.

In the video Woods is inside the Blood Alcohol Testing Center.
