For Monday thundershower chances hover around 20-30 percent as highs warm to the mid-80s with partly cloudy skies and winds from the northeast/ east at 5-10 miles per hour. The showers and storms will then ramp up late Sunday and Monday, courtesy of a storm system diving in from the northwest.

Sunday will bring several rounds of showers and thunderstorms. Low: 70. High: 90. The sunshine continues for Saturday with highs in the low 80s. In fact, this low is not expected to clear the Lone Star State until the middle part of the upcoming week. To the north and west, clusters of rain and storms are expected to develop and move around the center of that low to the east.
