George Clooney's father reveals who the twins look like

Despite not having yet met the tots in person, Nick and wife Nina have been introduced via Skype, and Nick spoke to United Kingdom television programme Good Morning Britain about his new grandchildren on Thursday.

Although, Nick didn't stop there without adding in a joke about his son - "George, well his eyes were glazed, so I'm not sure that he was sober" he said of the Skype call. She is an incredible woman.

George and Amal married in 2014 in a ceremony in Italy.

"Speaking of nappy duty, he added: "[George] will be hands on entirely and he will do it with humour and with joy.

But those twins, he says, are "perfect" and already have some of their grandparents' features, "They are absolutely lovely". "I'm supposed to be a reporter, therefore observant, but I really don't know how to describe one lovely baby from another attractive baby", the proud grandfather said.

The first-time parents welcomed their twin babies in the morning, the actor's publicist said.

Nick Clooney told The Associated Press Wednesday that he has seen the twins, Ella and Alexander, who were born Tuesday morning in London. Online that the couple is planning to raise Elle and Alexander in London for the twins' formative years.

Nick Clooney said his son will be a "wonderful father" as he praised Amal for already being a "magnificent mother". "Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine", the couple said in a statement.

Tilda Swinton remembers the days when her good pal George Clooney used to poke fun at her for frequent night wakings from her twins, Xavier and Honor, who are now 9-years-old. He was due to attend the Aurora Prize for Awakening Humanity ceremony in Yerevan, Armenia on Sunday.
