E3 2017: Bethesda Introduces Creation Club For Fallout 4 and Skyrim

It was a "Nazi with a strawberry milkshake" kinda night. But on the bright side, after two pretty long conferences from both EA and Microsoft, Bethesda's E3 2017 presentation was comparably super brief at just about 45 minutes or so, which means if there was something you weren't interested in, they didn't focus on it too long before moving on, so that was great.

There weren't any huge surprises, but at least they kept things moving along. It looks like it will be very much in the same vein as The New Order, and is dubbed Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. Bethesda promised the entire game will be fully playable in VR. I'll definitely check that out. Creation Club will offer brand-new content created by Bethesda itself, outside developers, and the community.

Creation Club will bring even more content to Skyrim and Fallout 4.

However, a caveat is that the trailer mentions downloading these content requires credits purchased via Bethesda, essentially bringing back paid mods with some alterations. But that's especially what made their new "Creation Club" stand out.

Dishonored Gets A New Adventure In September.

.

Dishonored 2 is getting a new bit of stand-alone content on September 15 called Death of the Outsider. It features a new playable character, Billie Lurk, and is described as "the flawless entry point for those new to the Dishonored series". Given that that DLC was arguably (inarguably?) better than the main game, I've got high hopes. But, there's a constant demand from our fans to add more official high-quality content to our games, and while we are able to create a lot of it, we think many in our community have the talent to work directly with us and create some wonderful new things. I thought the trailer was extremely effective, providing a mix of goofy and weird humor but also some really surreal and disturbing ideas and visuals along with some awesome-looking gameplay.

In Dishonered related news, a new trailer was shown, showcasing a gritty, more action-oriented approach.

Elder Scrolls Online is letting fans of the massively multiplayer online game return to Morrowind in a massive addition to the title.
