When the remaster originally launched, it was included with 2016, "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare".

Activision did not provide release dates for the Windows PC and Xbox One versions of the game. Activision announced today that the title will release June 27 for PlayStation 4. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will be available for $39.99 and will be available in stores as well as online in the PlayStation Store. Purchasing this bundle was the only way for players to access both games-until now.

On release day, players will be able to participate in the newest seasonal Call of Duty event called, Call of Duty "Days of Summer". A release on other platforms will follow shortly afterwards. Check out the new launch trailer above.

Let us know if you will be getting Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered anytime soon by commenting in the comments section below. Now, Activision is releasing the game as a standalone purchase.

Since then, the title has been in demand from loyal fans of the series who didn't like the idea of forking out the extra scratch to play the weird Call of Duty "in space" installment. If that's more your style, you can preorder it now on the Xbox Store. Fans will relive the full, iconic story campaign as they're transported around the globe with Capt. Price, Gaz and Soap across all the missions from the original game, including "All Ghillied Up", "Charlie Don't Surf", and "Crew Expendable".

When Modern Warfare Remastered was first announced, I had the chance to speak with one of its lead developers. The standard campaign and 16 multiplayer maps are packed in.
