In the process of their financial success in 2016, the Jaguars also jumped two spots to become No. 25 on the NFL's list in terms of value ranking them ahead of notable franchises like the Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, Detroit Lions and New Orleans Saints to name a few. Alongside Adidas, the club are sponsored by other big companies such as Chevrolet and 20th Century Fox.

The Dallas Cowboys are the world's most valuable sports team, according to the annual list published by Forbes on Wednesday that was dominated by National Football League teams.

Forbes says the Cowboys are now the world's most valuable sports team in 2017. Spanish rivals Barcelona drop down 1 place from third to fourth whilst Real Madrid dropped 3 places to fifth. Despite the nice growth in overall value to $1.88 billion from last year's valuation of $1.53 billion, the percentage drop in growth is quite a bit, since last year the Chiefs increased in value almost 40 percent year over year.

Of those top-seven North American teams, four missed the playoffs this past season. That number makes St. Louis the seventh most valuable franchise in Major League Baseball. But the team's value rose from $1.93 billion in 2016 to $2.3 billion, an increase of 19 percent. That's an increase of $300 million dollars over past year.
