Expect a few showers through Friday

Boulder County should see temperatures top out in the mid-80s today with a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms this evening, according to the National Weather Service. Saturday, there is a chance of thunderstorms with a high of 83 and a low of 60.

There's an isolated chance thunderstorms could provide a pre-dawn wake call along the Front Range Friday morning. Saturday is the best day for showers, while Sunday could clear up by the afternoon. It will be warm and humid with high temperatures in the low 90s.

Friday night: Clear, with a low around 51.

Monday will be a nice day after the rain clears out and the front dissipates. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 64.

Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 67. The humidity is more noticeable, but isn't uncomfortable. By Saturday, the low will recede and high pressure will take its place. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.

Thursday: Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 101. Rain chances go up to 40%.
