Tom Cruise was left limping after a failed stunt on the set of his Mission: Impossible 6 film in London.

Video footage shows the mega-star - who always performs his own stunts - taking a huge leap off some rigging onto a rooftop while attached to a harness.

Be that as it may, he landed short and smashed hard into the side of the building.

Cruise is no stranger to stunt work, having performed all manner of risky stunts in past "Mission: Impossible" flicks - including hanging onto the exterior of a jet plane as it took off. According to TIME, Cruise previously filmed a stunt on a roof before but that time it was in Paris.

In addition to the rooftop leaping scenes, Cruise has also been filming risky stunts in Paris, reports The Telegraph, including one in which he slams a motorcycle into a vehicle before flipping through the air.

In Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation, Cruise filmed a sequence as he hung from A400 plane in mid-air.

He then crouched down with his palm to his forehead, assessing the amount of pain he was in and chose to limp back to the edge of the building as if nothing happened. He was able to get back up, but he continued to limp as he made his way off of the set. "I want that steep climb, '" Cruise said to Entertainment Tonight.

Cruise has yet to release a statement regarding the extent of his injuries but it doesn't seem to be serious. Also starring are Henry Cavill, Rebecca Ferguson, Angela Bassett and Alec Baldwin.
