If Mario cars are not your thing and you want something more mature and elegant for your Rocket League matches, Psyonix has you also hooked. The announcement was pretty vague, simply promising the "soccer with cars" game would arrive on Nintendo's new system, but the possibilities were obvious. Which team you're on in any given match will affect which cars you can use: if you're on Blue team, you'll have access to the Luigi NSR and a tweaked Samus auto styled after her Varia Suit; if you're on Orange team, you'll be able to drive the Mario NSR and Samus' Gunship.

When Psyonix announced that Rocket League was coming to the Switch, Nintendo fans rejoiced, as the game is one of best multiplayer games on PC, Xbox One and PS4.

The Switch is receiving two exclusive cars themed after the Super Mario Bros. and the Metroid series. The Gunship vehicle will come with a Wave Beam specialized boost. This comes in two variations based on different Varia suits and come with the "Wave Beam' specialised boost".

In a post on Rocket League's website today we got a good look at what we can expect in terms of customization when the game launches later this year.

Both Switch exclusive cars will be free to all Rocket League owners on the platform, however, just as the other platform exclusive Battle-Cars, players will need to meet some requirements to unlock them.
