Irreverent, gritty, and sure to blow the minds of period sandbox fanatics, the game looks like.well, something that's going to be awfully hard waiting another half year or so for.

Have you spotted anything else in the Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer at all?

Fans of the first "Red Dead Redemption" will no doubt recognize that gang name, as its leader Dutch and his gang were central characters. The game was hit with a small delay, missing 2017 entirely, and will instead launching in the Spring of 2018. Curiously, there hasn't been any acknowledgement of a possible PC version, but considering the first game never made an appearance there, it's possible this one won't either.

Train-robbing, fist-fighting, swamp-navigating, deer-hunting, horse-lassoing; Red Dead Redemption 2 looks to bring players some good ol' fashioned Western fun for the modern era of gaming.

The storyline revolved around John Marston, an outlaw in the Wild West who must work with the Bureau to locate his past accomplices in order to see his family once again. Morgan is a part of the Van der Linde gang, otherwise known as Dutch's Gang due to the leadership of Dutch van der Linde.
