The Shiv Sena chief added that he didn't know whether "BJP would bring "Acche Din" or not, but in next election we will hoist the saffron flag at Mantralaya and bring "Acche Din" for the people".

As per reports, Rane, in the press conference said many ask him will Sena stick to BJP but he has always maintained that Sena will not part ways but will be kicked out.

Uddhav Thackeray further said that Shivsena allied with the BJP for Hindutva when the word "Hindutva" was a taboo. "An atmosphere was created that those who favour demonetisation are patriots and those who oppose it are traitors", Thackeray said referring to Modi government's decision to withdraw high-value currency notes from circulation past year.

Rane was the Chief Minister for almost one year (1999) in the Shiv Sena-BJP alliance which ruled the state between 1995-1999, later he served as Opposition Leader before quitting the party to join the Congress in 2005 which he left last month.

He said the Sena would remain in the government but continue to criticise the BJP on various issues.

Formed in the name of working for the overall and all-inclusive development of the state, Narayan Rane's party is already rumoured to be forming alliances with the in-power NDA government. "Let me first make new friends for my party, and then I will be able to announce my next move". Sources said Mr. Rane had tried for over six months to join the BJP, but his induction was stalled due to objections by several party leaders. So the BJP leadership chose to bring Rane into the NDA fold by way launching his own party. "After setting up the party organization, we shall decide on our future course including allying with the NDA".

Rane had resigned from the Congress on September 21. Why should we oppose a technology that would have otherwise come after 50 years?

He questioned Sena's contribution to the state, Hindutva or for Marathi manoos. There has been speculation that he could take oath as a minister in the Maharashtra government next week. No representation in Sena comes without money, so how can he (Uddhav) talk of corruption?
