The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the recall, saying the plates have a clear plastic layer over various printed designs.

They include printed designs that feature cars, princesses, construction scenes and other options. The bowls were sold at places like Babies 'R Us, Target, Walmart and Amazon from October 2009 to August 2017. There have been four reports of choking in Canada as of September, but no children have been injured.

The company received 372 reports of the clear plastic layer peeling and bubbling on the plates and bowls.

The products recalled are described as white kids plates and bowls with a colored rim and a non-slip bottom.

Consumers should stop using the recalled plates and bowls immediately and keep them away from young children, according to the CPSC.
