"We want to finish the Championship on a high note, every test is important for us", Read told a news conference after the All Blacks concluded their preparations for their last game of this year's southern hemisphere championship.

"We're looking to play a team that will be hurting incredibly, I would suggest, after Albany and we need to make sure that we meet that and continue on growing and developing ourselves", Hansen said.

"We knew it was just a blip in New Zealand and we knew we must just keep persevering".

"It was really pleasing to come back from that 57-0 drubbing which we never felt defined this team".

Hansen said he expected a backlash from the Springboks, who were heavily criticised by their fans after their record defeat at North Harbour Stadium.

"But working for the mate next to you; that is something you can not coach and that makes me so proud to see how they play for each other".

'You get greater pleasure when you see people performing under pressure.

The rugby ranking system was brought in by World Rugby just before the 2003 World Cup.

The All Blacks have extended their lead at the top of the world rugby rankings as they edge closer to eight straight years in the number one spot.

'What we saw tonight was if everyone is in the right mindset the Boks are a very good team. Compared to 2016, we have had a proper season in 2017 and have been able to plan properly.
