Commenting on today's rally by Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi here today, Nitin Patel claimed that there was no mention about Patidars or any other non-reserved classes in any of the speeches delivered by Gandhi or any of the local Congress leaders, which according to him, hints at the repetition of KHAM theory.

"Heard about Rs. 1 crore offer by BJP to Narendra Patel, I'm upset".

Allegations of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) offering bribe to Narendra Patel, a close of 24-year-old leader Hardik Patel, have triggered a war of words between the ruling party and the Congress in poll-bound Gujarat. "It will never be bought", Rahul said in a tweet. He has denied the allegation. He told that both BJP and Congress are Theif parties, BJP is bigger thief while congress is his cousin brother. Narendra Patel in his sensational allegations revealed that Varun Patel gave him 10 lakhs and assured that the rest of the amounts will be paid soon.

The BJP rubbished his charges and said it was a "drama" staged at the behest of the Congress.

"The Congress MLAs in Gujarat were coerced, and attempts to bribe them were made". "I had joined the party because BJP-led Gujarat party had taken some good decisions".

Meanwhile, Congress leader Manish Tewari demanded that a case should be registered against the state BJP and judicial probe should be ordered. BJP claimed that this whole scene of Narendra Patel first joining BJP and hours later putting such allegations on the party, is all a choreographed by Congress. BJP spokesperson from Gujarat, Bharat Pandya said it is "wrong to announce that one wants to join BJP and then come up with these allegations hours later".

He said: "Modi has unleashed the most direct attack on federalism by threatening the Gujarat people if they don't vote for the BJP".

He also claimed that Patidar leader Varun Patel, who joined the BJP on Saturday evening, facilitated his turning toward the ruling party of the state.

BJP said that first Congress tried to wage proxy wars and when the party failed, it began with these media stunts. Hardik Patel to this has said that he will not be able to meet Rahul Gandhi but something can be done within the next few days. When he realised that BJP is not doing anything in favour of his community, he resigned from BJP and also thanked Narendra Patel, to reveal the truth about BJP.
