The Cavaliers are in town on Monday, so LeBron's comments should give the Knicks plenty of bulletin-board material.

"We had two options: a 45-minute bus ride or a six-minute train ride, so we chose to hop on the train with the squad", James says in another video posted on Twitter.

The alternative was a 45-minute bus ride, which James said he didn't fancy in a video posted on the his digital company's "Uninterrupted" Twitter account.

Even LeBron James must follow the unwritten rules of public transportation.

Other riders waved to LeBron as the train continued to move along.

Following Monday morning shootaorund at Madison Square Garden, the Cleveland Cavaliers didn't want to sit in bumper-to-bumper NY traffic just to get back to the team hotel. Fans can be heard saying hello to former Knick J.R. Smith as the team makes their way to the platform. "I got on in Philly before but not here in New York", James said.

Must've been a Knicks fan.

"Trying to be like real citizens man", Smith said to the camera.

You're bound to see plenty of interesting things when you spend a lot of time on the New York City subway system.

Monday night's game will be the second time the Knicks and Cavaliers square off this season.
