The Onslow County Sheriff is searching for a missing child: Mariah Kay Woods. She is three years old, please notify them. She has blond hair and blue eyes.

Mariah lived with her mother and her mother's live-in boyfriend, and was reported missing on Monday at 6 a.m, WXII12 reported.

A photo from the North Carolina Department of Public Safety was not immediately available. Authorities also asked those in the community to search their own property for anything out of the ordinary. "She's my baby, she's my everything".

Kristy Woods begged for her to be brought back home.

The child is not Mariah Woods and the woman does not have any connection to the ongoing investigation to find Mariah, they said.

In an interview with WCTI, Mariah's biological father, Alex Woods, said he found out his daughter was missing when the Amber Alert was issued Monday morning.

In addition to the prayers Wednesday night, the Onslow County Sheriffs Office, as well as the Federal Bureau of Investigation, made a statement asking for assistance from citizens.

The FBI has joined a search for a missing three-year-old girl who was last seen in her bed on Sunday night. A helicopter and drones were used to aide in the search.

Anne Edwards, a family friend, said Mariah is a sweet child, but shy with strangers, according to WRAL.

The girl's two older brothers were in the house when Mariah disappeared but are both safe.

"Mariah's mother describes her as their "little angel", with a goofy, outgoing and talkative personality".

Onslow County Sheriff Hans J. Miller told Fox News there appeared to be no sign of a break-in or unlawful entry at Woods' home.
