The mid-range phone was launched in China back in October and today, Huawei has made the Honor 7X official in the US. The smartphone, which delivers full-screen viewing experience, will retail at AED 999. "It has a 5.99" FHD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and is powered by the Kirin 970 processor, which has a dedicated NPU and brings a ton of AI features to the View 10. The optics feature of this smartphone includes a dual-lens camera of 16MP and 2MP sensor at the rear and an 8MP sensor in the front.

It runs on Huawei's home-grown octa-core Kirin 659 processor clocked at 2.36 GHz and features a Mali-T830 MP2 graphics processor. It would seem that Huawei's Honor brand is coming directly for the market that OnePlus just left behind.

The Honor 7X will be available for purchase from December 5, 2017 in selected markets, including Europe (United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, Ukraine and Turkey), Russia, United States, Middle East (United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Iran), India and Malaysia.

Both smartphones are offered at extremely competitive price points with Honor View 10 available at 499.9 euro/449.99 GBP and Honor 7X at 299 euro/269 GBP.

The Honor V10 sports a bezel-less display and a metallic unibody.

The new Honor 7X was launched in a major event in London at a price of Rs 12,999 for the 32 GB variant and Rs 15,999 for the 64 GB variant.

The Honor V10 was launched in China a week ago, and now, Honor's back with the launch of the Honor View 10, the worldwide variant of the V10.

The successor of last year's Honor 6X, the Honor 7X shows a lot more promise mainly due to its modern design and sleek metal-clad body.

Under the hood there is 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, a 16Mp and 20Mp dual camera set up on the back running off a 3,750 mHa battery. The View 10 was launched as the V10 in China in November.

On the design front, the new Honor 7X has a whiff of a knock-off iPhone 7 Plus about it.

As ever, the hybrid SIM slot will either take two SIM cards or one SIM and one SD card, but crucially it can support dual 4G and dual VOLTE - a significant upgrade for gamers.

The front facing camera is a 13 MP unit and is accompanied by a very Apple-esque 3D face recognition hardware and software. The phone houses 3,340mAh battery with "Ultra Power Saving Mode". Honor claims that its fast charging technology can charge the battery up to 50 percent in just 30 minutes.

The exact India price, however, will be announced later. The phone is available in either Aurora Blue, Gold, or Black colorways.
