Starring Emmy, Screen Actors Guild and Golden Globe victor Claire Danes and Emmy and Tony victor Mandy Patinkin, the cast of series regulars also includes returning actors Elizabeth Marvel, Linus Roache, Maury Sterling and Jake Weber, and joining the cast this season is acclaimed actor Morgan Spector (Boardwalk Empire). In the upcoming season, Carrie goes rogue as she attempts to take down criminals under President Keene's (Elizabeth Marvel) tyrannical administration. She locked up over 200 intelligence community officers in the wake of that attack, including Saul (Mandy Patinkin).

It looks like the new season will also see the return of Brett O'Keefe. This puts a real monkey wrench in Carrie's plan because she's one of the few people who seems to be onto the fact that something is off about President Keane. Anyone who takes a stand for what they believe, people are gonna say they're insane. In addition, Carrie will be working to get the incarcerated agents released.

Homeland Season 7 premieres Sunday, February 11 at 9 PM on Showtime.

Homeland season 6 ended with Peter Quinn dying a hero's death and Carrie realising that Dar Adal might have been right about Elizabeth Keane's "distinctly un-American" motives after all. Meanwhile, Mathison has left the White House and is attempting to secure the release of those intelligence community personnel while living with her sister.
