Arsene Wenger admits Jurgen Klopp's squad rotation has hampered his preparation as he seeks a response to Arsenal's thrashing at Liverpool.

Klopp confirmed Daniel Sturridge is a worry and said Joel Matip is closing in on a return.

No-one is suggesting Arsenal should try and bully Liverpool on Friday, but if a bit of pragmatism was good enough for Fergie's United, it's sure as anything good enough for this struggling Arsenal side.

Salah established himself as Liverpool's best player this season, scoring 19 goals with the club including 14 goals in the Premier League to be the league's top scorer.

The German takes his side to London on Friday, when Oxlade-Chamberlain will look to make a point against the club he left in August.

He said: "Against us most of the time Giroud played from the beginning so that shows the style Arsenal choose against us". That's how it is.

"It's hard to guess, but we have tried to see what I'll do but for me the most important thing is we turn up and it's a positive performance".

And he rapped: "The biggest improvement for Oxlade-Chamberlain is being involved in goalscoring situations". If you watched Arsenal in the past, the two decisive players were Sanchez and Ozil.

"We are not relaxed, but we have a view on everything and it needs to fit together and everything needs to work out in the end, and you need to have solutions for different situations and systems and all that stuff". They have plenty of offensive players and looking at them recently, they have changed a lot their teams so it is hard to guess.

"They are a complete football team, able to do everything. The boys do the jobs now much more often".

"They can change styles, they played a lot of long balls against us".

"I will see what I do but for me the most important is that we turn up with a positive performance".

"We are a team that is very offensive-orientated, but that doesn't mean you have to give any space away".
