Today, Nintendo released a fifth contender named Dr. Coyle.

Dr. Coyle has been added to the ARMS roster.

As you watch the clip above, you'll see the new Arms that Coyle brings into the game.

The major new feature of the ARMS 5.0 update is the introduction of Dr. Coyle, who can be encountered through Grand Priz on LV6 or higher.

This gleefully sinister fighter packs a lot of unusual abilities that the game hasn't seen thus far. In addition, a new mode in the form of Hedlok Scramble was implemented, replays were added, and Splatfest-esque events appeared in the form of Party Crash. And some gnarly obstacles in the forms of hanging test tubes that look similar to boxing heavy bags.

Along with her, the new update adds three new Arms in the Lockjaw, Parabola and the Brrchuck, and a new stage called [NAME REDACTED] that's not us censoring ourselves, that's the actual name.

For Grand Prix LV6 and lower, the computer will now get stronger as you get deeper into the Grand Prix. The news was confirmed via the official Japanese Arms page. Hard to believe we've been throwing punches this long, but it's great to see continued support for the stretchy slugfest.
