Someone's future just got brighter in the Sunshine State: A single $450 million jackpot-winning ticket in Friday's Mega Millions drawing was sold in Florida, lottery officials said.

Someone who bought a Mega Millions ticket in Florida won the fourth-largest jackpot in the 15-year history of the lottery game.

The odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot are one in 302.5 million. As usual, the victor can choose the annuity or opt for the cash at $281 million, which is still a pretty penny as the sole victor.

With a winning Mega Millions jackpot waiting to be claimed in Florida, the jackpot for that lottery game will reset to $40 million ($25 million cash) for the next drawing on Tuesday.

Powerball drawings take place at 10:59 p.m. on Wednesday and Saturday and may be watched live online at: http://www.powerball.com. One Oklahoma and one Texas winning ticket included the optional Megaplier, so those two tickets are worth $3 million because the 3X Megaplier was drawn. Powerball odds are one in 292.2 million.

It has a current jackpot of roughly $570 million, or $358.5 million cash. More than 21 million tickets were sold for all the prizes. We're looking forward to Saturday's $570 million Powerball jackpot. Mega Millions tickets are offered in the same locations, excluding Puerto Rico.
