The announcement was initially made by NBC and the NFL, then confirmed in a tweet by NFL Network and People magazine. Timberlake makes his return to Super Bowls stage after his controversial performance with Janet Jackson in 2004. I'm really excited about the Grammy's.

The pop star tweeted on January 6 about some "secret stuff" she had planned for 2018. Super Bowl 51's performers included Luke Bryan singing the national anthem and Lady Gaga providing the halftime entertainment.

Last October, the 38-year-old singer weighed in on the NFL's NationalAnthem controversy - and Trump's claim that players who took a knee during the "Star Spangled Banner" were disrespecting the country.

Justin Timberlake is set to headline the Super Bowl halftime show. There's no word on whether Pink will join him, but there's no doubt that's a fun lineup if ever we saw one. Timberlake will release his newest album, Man of the Woods, on February 2.

Pink's performance in Minneapolis will air before kickoff at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday, Feb. 4.
