That is the point at which the man who moved toward Weinstein slaps him twice in the face, just before he and his companion leave the eatery.

The restaurant manager tells TMZ Weinstein, who is in the state seeking treatment following accusations of rape and sexual misconduct, politely declined the request and shook the fan's hand.

He also tries to grab the camera out of the filmer's hand at one point.

Weinstein was having dinner with his sober coach at Elements restaurant at the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort when a man sitting next to Weinstein asked for a photograph with him, TMZ reported.

Hollywood pariah Harvey Weinstein was attacked by a fellow restaurant patron at a luxury resort in Arizona on Tuesday night, TMZ reports.

But then, as they were both leaving the restaurant, Steve told his friend to get out his cell phone and record him as he approached Weinstein again.

Steve claims he complimented Weinstein's filmography and asked for a photo, and that Weinstein became "belligerent" in response.

Dozens of women, including actresses Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow, have accused Weinstein of sexual harassment, while several others have accused the Oscar victor of raping them.

A representative for Weinstein told The Hollywood Reporter in an email that "the TMZ report is accurate".

Arizona's Family has reached out to the Paradise Valley Police Department and the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort for more information about the incident.

Weinstein and British fashion designer Georgina Chapman have reportedly agreed a divorce settlement, according to the New York Post.
