On the 4th of January, she demanded Costo a refund because her Christmas tree "is dead" and one eye-witness has documented the entire thing.

Amazingly, she actually did get her money back, according to the post.

So come January, the woman reportedly wanted her money back for her once lively Christmas tree because it was now dead.

Scott Bentley was so outraged the woman's chutzpah, he posted a photo he took of her along with his commentary on Facebook.

"If I didn't see it, I wouldn't believe that someone had so little morel [sic] values or lack of conscience".

"I can't make this stuff up", Bentley wrote.

An incredulous Facebook user discovered this fun fact last week when he was in line at the checkout counter behind a woman who had dragged in her holiday decor.

The post said the woman was questioned about the purchase and Costco employees made sure to verify the purchase on her account. "People like this are miserable".

Costco is known for a generous refund policy under which any item barring electronics can be returned at any time within 90 days. "Seriously, how cheap can you be?" People do this all the time.

Sun Online has requested comment from Costco.
