WhatsApp has pushed a new feature with its latest iOS update.

Last week, several people in India were unable to use WhatsApp as the app kept flashing message that read "WhatsApp became obsolete". Started a few days ago, Xiaomi devices are affected by a bug which causes an error in the WhatsApp in which the app says "This version became obsolete". To know more about this issue, our team has approached WhatsApp team, and they told us it is a third party issue, not an error with WhatsApp. Earlier, when users clicked on the link, the YouTube video would open in YouTube app installed on smartphones. Now, the Chinese smartphone maker has come up with a statement, taking the responsibility for the "WhatsApp Obsolete" issue.

Xiaomi provided the following statement to Gadgets 360, "A few Xiaomi users reported an issue with WhatsApp on their smartphones". Also, the beta versions of various apps are prone to bugs and issue despite getting the latest features beforehand. The company also assured that they will be vigilant with the apps available on the Mi App Store platform. For now, the feature is only available for iOS devices, but it is expected to soon roll out for Android as well.
