Nominations are out for the 38th annual Razzie Awards, honoring the worst that Hollywood has to offer filmgoers, and animated filmmaking was recognized in a big way this year.

Katherine Heigl was nominated in the worst actress category for her role in "Unforgettable".

Unsurprisingly, many of them are nominated for the Razzies, with the latest Transformers film shortlisted in every category except worst actress. The formerly Oscar-buzzy mother! earned Worst Actress and Worst Director nominations for Jennifer Lawrence and Darren Aronofsky, respectively.

Those five movies will also compete for the top Razzie distinction of Worst Picture of 2017.

The other Worst Picture nominees are The Emoji Movie, Baywatch and Tom Cruise's remake of The Mummy. "Fifty Shades Darker" star Dakota Johnson, Jennifer Lawrence's for her performance in "mother!". A Madea Halloween (um, Tyler Perry is a man, so what is going on here?) and Emma Watson for The Circle.

In the running for Worst Supporting Actor are Javier Bardem for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Russell Crowe for The Mummy, Josh Duhamel and Anthony Hopkins for Transformers: The Last Knight and Mel Gibson for Daddy's Home 2.

The most nominated film this year is "Transformers: The Last Knight", followed by "Fifty Shades Darker" and "The Mummy".

This year's ceremony will take place on Saturday 3 March, a day before the Oscars, where winners will receive the "tackiest Tinsel Town trophies".
