Paying homage to the original, the Range Rover SV Coupe SUV will most likely be powered by a 565PS 5.0 litre V8 supercharged petrol engine.

It's a big, luxurious SUV that sports two doors - that's the Range Rover SV Coupe that British automaker Land Rover plans to reveal March 6 at the Geneva auto show.

The single teaser images of the Range Rover SV Coupe reveals the interior's four-seat layout which shows the front and rear seats are outfitted in multiple-coloured leather.

This cool factor clearly isn't lost on JLR, as the firm has commissioned its Special Vehicle Operations bods to cook up a limited-run two-door coupe version of the current Range Rover, as a very expensive and rather spangly tribute to its similarly configured predecessor. The front passengers are treated with white, diamond-quilted leather seats coupled with a white dashboard and arm rest.

No exterior teasers have been released yet, but we'd expect the auto to stick close to the regular Range Rover's boxy silhouette - to provide decent headroom for passengers in those cossetting rear seats.

To be showcased at the 2018 Geneva Auto Show in a little over a month's time, the vehicle has just been announced.

Gerry McGovern, Chief Design Officer, Land Rover said, "The Range Rover SV Coupe is a highly compelling design with peerless refinement and uncompromised sophistication from its breathtaking exterior proportions to its sumptuous, beautifully appointed, interior".

Always wanted a Range Rover, but thought it had two doors too many? Land Rover are celebrating their 70th Anniversary this year. As such, it will be hand-assembled at the SV Technical Centre in Ryton-on-Dunsmore in the United Kingdom.
