Ex Chris Martin Is Brother-Like For Gwyneth Paltrow

On Thursday night, Paltrow opened up about the nature of their relationship in an interview on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. "It's so huge!" Stephen quipped.

Twitter users alighted on Friday with screenshots of a new product on Gwyneth Paltrow's lifestyle platform Goop: a $900 loofah that promises to make dreams come true.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin consciously uncoupled - and now they are like siblings.

Paltrow and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin were married from 2003 until April 2015, when they announced to the world that they were splitting up, but branded the process a "conscious uncoupling", which is one of the decade's most awesome phrases.

"He's really like my brother".

"Definitely not, " she said.

"Divorce is awful, it was very painful, it was really hard", adding, "We really genuinely wanted our kids to be as unscathed as possible."People.com reported that though the couple remains close, they have completely moved on from their romantic relationship".

Colbert wondered if perhaps Gwynie and her ex - who have two children together, Apple, 13, and Moses, 11 - were somehow "more evolved" than the rest of us because of the way they've handled their breakup, but the actress insisted otherwise. Divorce is bad, it was very painful, it was really hard. It was really painful. "We genuinely wanted our kids to be as unscathed as possible", she added.

And Gwyneth admitted she and the Coldplay frontman were determined to "maintain the family", even when they weren't together anymore so she's happy they achieved their goal. "That's what we've tried to do".
