WoW's Battle for Azeroth begins in September

Blizzard Entertainment has announced that Battle for Azeroth, the next expansion for the 13-year-old World of Warcraft, is launching for PC this summer.

If you're ready to hit the ground running ahead of Battle for Azeroth's release, you can preorder the expansion now from Blizzard for $49.99 for the standard edition, or $69.99 for the Digital Deluxe edition. -Alliance conflict in World of Warcraft, with a new continent to explore for each faction and brand-new gameplay features like Allied Races, randomized Island Expeditions, and large-scale Warfronts, ' commented Blizzard boss, Mike Morhaime.

Purchasing Battle for Azeroth will grant players a character boost that can be used on any character and will instantly level them up to 110, the current maximum level pre-Battle for Azeroth.

Battle for Azeroth is heavily inspired by Warcraft's real-time strategy past and aims to push the Horde and Alliance back into competing against each other. Each of the two faction will contain three playable races, including Highmountain Tauren, Lightforged Draenei, Void Elves, and the Nightborne. Every preorder, whether standard or Digital Deluxe, also includes a free boost to level 110 for one character. Pre-sales are now open and give you the chance to get a taste for the new Allied Races being introduced in the expansion. But what if the standard edition isn't enough for you, and you've got prove your Blizzard fandom with the most digital goodies possible? A Baby Tortollan pet also comes along for the ride. In Starcraft II, you'll get Horde and Alliance sprays.

Battle for Azeroth sees the armies of the Horde and Alliance turn their attention back toward one another following their shared victory over the demonic Burning Legion. And finally, the Overwatch bonuses are Horde- and Alliance-themed voice lines for Torbjorn, along with emotes for Tracer.

Heroes of the Storm: You can ride into battle on a Primal Flamesaber mount, available in green, white, and toast colours.
