Pakistan Super League 2018 begins with glittering ceremony

The Peshawar Zalmi vs Multan Sultans will be telecast live in India on DSport.

Shaoib Malik-led Multan Sultans would face Defending Champions Peshawar Zalmi in their very first T20 of HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2018 in Dubai on Thursday night with hope to begin their PSL journey with a bang.

Earlier, PSL kicked off with a glitzy opening ceremony.

To make sure the opening ceremony is as spectacular as the tournament itself, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has invited a glut of Pakistani and worldwide superstars to perform at the event.

In his opening address, PCB Chairman Najam Sethi said that the final of the third edition of PSL would take place in Karachi as per schedule.

"We are very satisfied that PSL has become an worldwide brand in two years".

Sharjeel and Khalid were charged for arranging dot balls in return for money in the opening game against Peshawar Zalmi on the first day of the second edition of the PSL. Last year, 24 matches happened, this year there will be 34. They are also about the big names and glamour around the events.

The one worry people had about Multan Sultans was the absence of enough power hitters, Shoaib Malik's men instead topping up on classical batsmen.
