Months after the global launch, Microsoft has finally launched the successor to the Surface Pro 4 in India. The money will go in payment of the thinnest Surface Pro, with thickness less than 9 mm for the tablet part. The latest Surface Pro offers up to 13.5 hours of battery life, which is 50% more than what Surface Pro 4 could achieve and 35% more than Apple's iPad Pro battery life. For the base variant, which comes with the Intel Core m3 processor, 4GB RAM, and 128 GB SSD, you will have to shell out Rs. 64,999.

The one with Intel Core i7, 512 GB SSD, 16GB RAM and Intel IrisTM Plus Graphics 640 configuration is available for Rs 1,82,999. These devices are powered by Windows 10 as their default operating system.

The variant of the Surface Pro with Intel HD Graphics 620, 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage retails for Rs. 1,06,999. Both the cameras are compatible to record full HD video of 1080 Pixels.

It has 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera.

If you don't need the "powerhouse performance" of the Surface Book 2, then the 12.3-inch Surface Pro is a more affordable option for business users who still need to run Windows 10 Pro.

The new hinge on the Microsoft Surface Pro adjusts to 165 degrees so that the Surface Pro can be put into Studio Mode, an optimal position for writing and sketching.

The entry-level variant has Intel's 7th Gen. It is powered by the newest 7th generation Kaby Lake processor and claims to offer improved battery backup. The Core i5 model will be available in 4GB RAM and 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. Other specifications include 4/8/16GB of RAM and 128/256/512GB of SSD storage. These three variants packs Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640. It features connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, USB 3.0, microSD card reader, and mini display port. The Surface Pro, launched universally in May a year ago, will be accessible beginning February 22. It comes with a price tag, starting from Rs 64,999 and is available on Amazon India and Flipkart along with some online retailers and authorized Microsoft dealers.
