The former "Alias" star, 45, had a moment during the 2018 Oscars where she was clapping and looked to stop in mid-celebration when she possibly realized something or was struck by something onstage. The actress took to Instagram on Monday and crafted a video in which she narrated her internal monologue over a clip of her buzzy Oscar moment. "Wait where's my wallet?" She continued, citing her famous Capital One commercials in another clip, "Hey Jimmy Kimmel, what's in your wallet?"

On the third and final loop, she says: "Can't wait to work with Lena Dunham!". And I'm pretty sure what Jennifer Garner saw was a the trail of spirits Tilda Swinton consumes in exchange for her unholy acting talent.

If you watched the Oscars, you saw how much of a knockout Jennifer Garner was on the red carpet.

Her explanation did not stop social media users from coming up with other humorous explanations. Fans and supporters of Garner could not help themselves but hypothesize on what popped into her mind during the time, hence the startled face.

Jennifer Garner is sharing just what she was thinking during her viral Oscars moment! This was a reference to her upcoming HBO show she's set to star in.

"She just got the theory of relativity". Another tweeted, "That Michael Keaton was the best Batman", referencing the actress' ex Ben Affleck, who played the caped crusader in Batman v Superman and Justice League.

Every awards season a few celebrities find their actions being turned into memes that go viral.
