Rain chance ramps up, peaks tomorrow

Our skies will become mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers Monday and Tuesday. We'll get through most of Wednesday with dry conditions, but clouds will hang around along with cool temperatures.

Good Wednesday. It will be much warmer today with the high reaching 72 degrees, a good 5 degrees above average.

Heavy rain is likely overnight into Thursday afternoon.

The PMD also predicted weather on Thursday to be partially cloudy, cold and dusty at times. Lows by Wednesday morning will be in the lower 30s.

Morning showers and isolated storms are possible mainly NW of the Natchez Trace. High temps tomorrow will only reach the low 40s with a northwest wind around 10 miles per hour.

There is a window of opportunity opening up on Friday for mostly sunny skies and highs near 60°. Saturday afternoon's weather should be dry and mild.

At the same time, a second dry cold front will be entering northern Louisiana on Thursday evening and approaching our region from the northwest. Clouds will increase and showers will develop on the plains in the afternoon.

FRIDAY: High pressure returns for Good Friday and that means a good day of weather!

Easter: High: 48 Low: 32 Becoming partly cloudy, breezy, colder.

Spells of rain will persist through to Easter weekend, but temperatures are not forecast to drop below 8C during the day through until Easter Saturday. Warmer too with highs around 80. Mostly cloudy skies and highs in the low 80s this afternoon. For now, we a forecasting a high of 62 degrees for the Greater Hartford Area.

Monday and Tuesday in the Omaha area are forecast to be mostly to partly sunny with highs in the low 50s. Thursday will likely be a wet day, with several intervals of rain and rumbles.
