In all the excitement, many people missed a subtle detail on the invitation: Markle is referred to as "Ms." instead of "Miss".

Royal experts speculate this is because she was once married.

She pointed out that the monarch feels like Meghan has been a "positive person" in Prince Harry's life, which is what's important to the Queen. "The military, and these units in particular, hold a great significance for Prince Harry and the couple are incredibly grateful for their support".

Nicholl also reiterated that Queen Elizabeth has a close bond with Prince Harry, adding that Her Majesty could "never say no" to her grandson.

Although British weddings don't have maids of honour (traditionally, they have chief bridesmaids), an insider previously revealed to Us Weekly that the royal wedding would include "American touches" to pay tribute to Markle's Los Angeles roots. It is unclear if he will wear a uniform on his wedding day. On the big day, visitors may be stopped and checked by police officers.

"Prince Harry and Ms. Markle are pleased that members of the Armed Forces will play such a special role in their wedding". However, her past was reportedly referenced in their wedding invites. Over 250 soldiers are going to perform ceremonial duties. Last month, we learned about Windsor Knot a beer created by a brewery in Eton, in honor of the upcoming royal wedding.

About 200 guests have also been invited to an evening reception at Frogmore House, hosted by Prince Charles.

However, such claims have yet to be officially confirmed.

According to the announcement, "members of the Household Cavalry will form a staircase party at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle as part of the wedding".

The royal couple will marry at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle on May 19, with millions of people expected to watch around the world.

Dogs and mounted officers will also be on patrol and marine officers will be conducting searches along the nearby Thames river.
