BJP destroying institutions, paper leak destroyed students' hopes: Rahul

In a series of tweets, Gandhi also attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the issue, saying he is a "weak watchman" as there were leaks in everything.

In a post on social media, Rahul said, 'PM wrote Exam Warriors, a book to teach students stress relief during exams.

But the government has come under huge criticism after question papers for Class 10 maths and Class 12 economics were circulated on WhatsApp days before examinations were held on Monday and Wednesday, respectively.

Following the conclusion of the exams, the Board decided for retests in the two subjects affecting around 28 lakh students.

BJP leader Shalabh Mani Tripathi on Friday filed a defamation case against Rahul Gandhi for allegedly making derogatory remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi during Congress party's national conclave in New Delhi recently.

During the three-day Congress national conclave in Delhi on March 16,17 and 18, Congress president Rahul Gandhi attacked PM Modi and compared him with Nirav Modi and Lalit Modi, both accused of fleeing the country after committing massive fraud.

Meanwhile, the Delhi Police interrogated over 30 people, including students and teachers of private coaching centres, in connection with the paper leak case. "For India's sake, I hope you were wrong and our 56-inch strongman has a plan".

Taking to microblogging site Twitter, the Gandhi scion referred to other leak instances in the recent past - Data leak, Aadhaar data leak, SSC exam paper leak and Election Date leak.
