Giannis Antetokounmpo did the heavy lifting with 32 points as the Bucks dropped the Golden State Warriors 116-107 in Oakland on Thursday night.

Before the ejection, Durant had 10 points and six assists in just 17 minutes of action before he received two technical fouls and was then tossed from the game by official Tre Maddox.

Durant was driving to the basket but was unable to finish after he fell to the ground and thought he was fouled on the play.

It's worth mentioning that he's just two technicals away from receiving a mandatory one-game suspension.

This was Durant's 14th technical foul and his fifth ejection of the season.

OAKLAND, Calif. - Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant told ESPN that the reason for his ejection uptick this season is due to a burning desire to repeat as an National Basketball Association champion.

The technical fouls were Durant's 13th and 14th of the season, respectively. And I think he was frustrated anyway because the game wasn't going well for him.

As a team, the Warriors shot a healthy 54 percent from the field and 10 of 20 from the three-point line but they committed a total of 18 turnovers and were totally out of sorts after Durant was ejected in the second quarter. The only player with more in a season in the past 25 seasons is Rasheed Wallace (seven in 1999-00 and 2000-01).

Thompson is averaging 19.7 points per contest while shooting 44.3 percent from three-point range this season. "I wish I didn't". My love and passion for the game has [blossomed] because I understand that's what it's all about, and I'm pouring all of this [newfound thirst] into this game. He was initially ruled out for at least four games, though Kerr conceded at the time that Thompson was "probably looking at (missing) a couple weeks". Like I said, I'll be there tomorrow at practice and be ready to do my job, which is to work hard and get better. "That's the good thing about it; I can move past it when I wake up".
