It's at a higher price point, but for the hardcore Spider-Man fans, it sounds like it is worth it. Between the Spider-Man acrobatics and the fun with the webs, it looks like there's a host of things Insomniac Games has come up with - including some classic Peter Parker one-liners. If you're buying digitally, you'll be able to pick up the digital deluxe edition, which costs $79.99. You betcha, true believers - we've got both.

As we're getting close to the new and exciting moment of witnessing Spider-Man's release date, Insomniac Games hasn't missed the chance to surprise us with another short gameplay footage of the game. More details on that a bit later down the road. Pre-orders for the game are up digitally on the PlayStation Store and multiple big-box retailers, and the studio also revealed a deluxe and collector's edition to boot.

The Collector's Edition of Marvel's Spider-Man will include all of the digital content available in the Digital Deluxe version. Pay extra special attention to the statue though and you'll notice something is obviously missing. This comes in at a price of $149.99 and includes The City That Never Sleeps, as well as an art book, a steelbook case and a statue of the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man perched atop something that will be revealed during the summer. What could that be?

The entire gang is also present, including Parker's bae Mary Jane (who you control in key moments), Aunt May, and that other Spider-Man, Miles Morales.

Some of the big takeaways are that Spider-Man will have absolutely no microtransactions, play at 30fps on both base PS4 and Pro, include a photo mode, and in some way feature a playable MJ which we heard about previous year.

This has lead many excited fans to become sceptical about how the game might look when it comes to the original PS4. Are you looking forward to the new Spider-Man game? Everybody should want Spider-Man, so I assume everybody should pre-order! While we didn't see any confrontations with Mister Negative in the Spider-Man game preview, there could be some cool, heart-thumping action between Spidey and this current villain.

Will you be buying Marvel's Spider-Man on Playstation 4?
