UFC star McGregor facing criminal charges in New York City

McGregor's motives for the rampage are unknown, but he has publicly raged about UFC's decision to to strip him of his belt and give it to the victor of a fight between Max Holloway and Khabib Nurmagomedov on Saturday.

He punched a number of the bus's windows, yelling "Get out!" and at one point he commanded his group to "Smash the windows!"

On Thursday famous Irish #Boxer Conor McGregor, who formerly held the UFC lightweight and featherweight titles, is charged with breaking into a van in the Barclays Center parking lot in Brooklyn along with his friends and throwing stuff around, causing damage to property. And some media members at the arena reported that the target of McGregor's ire was apparently Nurmagomedov, who seemed to believe that was the case. This is big history gangster place. While McGregor stewed in his hotel Saturday night, Russia's Khabib Nurmagomedov was officially crowned the lightweight champion after crushing his stand-in opponent Al Iaquinta in a five-round domination. "Meaning, I know that when we fought, we both sold the fight, the world loved what we did".

As such, there's been tensions between the involved camps: Earlier this week, Nurmagomedov and his team had a heated confrontation with Artem Lobov, another fighter and associate of McGregor. The only person here who is losing a belt is Conor.

"Conor McGregor was a guy that people looked up to - yes he was cocky, yes he was brash - but he would do things he said he would do, but he never did anything like this".

He was caught on camera throwing a hand dolly through a bus full of UFC fighters.

White added: "We get through this weekend - we get back to Las Vegas and we just start figuring this thing out".

That was before Thursday's events, which figure to forever change McGregor's relationship with UFC.
