Brayden McNabb scored against his former team in the second period and Fleury stopped 31 shots as the Knights finished off their fourth one-goal victory of the series.

Fleury's 0.65 goals-against average makes him the fifth goaltender in the expansion era (since 1967-68) to win all four games of a playoff series and finish with a GAA of 0.70 or less. After two losses, Doughty claimed there's no way Vegas would be better than the end of the season, which he was right about, as the Kings went on to beat them in the final two regular season games.

McNabb scored from the right circle, beating Jonathan Quick's glove, at 4:04 of the second for his first career playoff goal. "Now all of a sudden, we're moving on to the second round of the playoffs". "They were all one-goal games, right?" Smith's efforts have helped Vegas get into Round 2 of the postseason following a series sweep against the Kings. They had a shooting percentage of 2.3% as Fleury made 127 saves on 130 Kings shots. The Sharks now lead the Ducks three games to none and have scored 18 goals in their first three games. "We can't forget how this feels". The clincher was his 66th playoff win, moving him past Dominik Hasek for sole possession of 11th place on the NHL's all-time list. Couture has two goals and three assists for five points in the first three games of the series.
