They have the innovations that matter most to you.

Motorola has the brand, the relationships, and a history of reliability.

The Moto G6 line is already available in Brazil as of today and will be hitting Mexico next week. Motorola hasn't said about Indian availability yet, but considering Moto E series has been popular with the entry-level segment in India, it may eventually be launched here. Such programs have become more prevalent in the industry, with the likes of OnePlus, Nokia, Samsung, and Google pushing beta software to eager testers.

While both smartphones run Android Oreo (8.0) out-of-the-box, they come with a polycarbonate back which looks sturdy as well as dependable.

What I think will be its main selling point is its battery.

"The Moto E5 is smaller at 5.7" but has the same HD+ resolution. If you don't see an update notification yet, check it by going to Settings System updates menu.

The Moto E5 comes in Gold and Platinum colors and will cost €150 (INR12,220 aprrox). It has a Snapdragon 435 processor with a more powerful GPU, and that's importantly paired up with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage rather than just 2GB and 16GB on the lower models.

I couldn't test the Moto G6's stamina in the time I had with it, but in operation the stock Android 8.0 experience was smooth, and apps opened quickly.

What's the downside? That screen is not very sharp, and also not very bright. Motorola's Moto G6 line-up for the time being consists of three affordable mid-tier phones aka the Moto G6, the Moto G6 Plus and the Moto G6 Play. But it's a nice lower-end phone for folks who will want to spend under $100 at their carrier and don't need a big phablet.

First impressions are that the back cameras are excellent for a phone at this price. An 8MP front-facing is also present on the front with an LED flash.

It's worth noting that the Moto G6 Plus comes with a superior rear camera, on paper.

Unlike some mid-range and above phones, Motorola hasn't made the G6 Plus waterproof.

The E5 Plus will come in Grey and Blue, while the E5 Play will come in black. Motorola will also be offering a Face Unlock feature on this model as well.

Unfortunately, the high-end G6 Plus will not be available in the USA, with the G6 Play starting at $199 and the G6 at $249.

The two phones have, surprisingly, different strengths. The phone has a front mounted fingerprint scanner, an accelerometer, a gyroscope, proximity sensor and a compass. The standard E5 will fit the bill for the widest number of people considering it's cheaper, easier to handle because of its smaller screen, and still has a huge battery.

The Moto G6 and Moto G6 Plus are backed by a 3,000mAh and 3,200mAh battery respectively and charge via USB Type-C and support 15W TurboCharging.

The big deal on the G6 is the camera. The user-facing camera is an 8-megapixel unit and the world-facing snapper setup pairs a 12-MP main camera and a second 5-MP sensor for depth-of-field effects.

While largely inferior to the Moto G6 in terms of hardware, one aspect in which the Moto G6 Play convincingly beats its sibling is its battery capacity as the handset is powered by a 4,000mAh cell as opposed to a 3,000mAh one.

You get Bluetooth 5.0 instead of 4.2, 11ac Wi-Fi and a bigger battery at 3200mAh.

Starting with Moto G6, the smartphone comes with a 5.7-inch display panel with full-HD Plus resolution and aspect ratio of 18:9.
