Britain's Prince Charles voices 'great joy' at new royal baby

Prince William is opening up about the royal family's newest addition.

Of course, William did say something similar to Sir Jerry Mateparae, New Zealand's high commissioner to the United Kingdom, who joked that his name should also be in consideration for the prince.

Kensington Palace first announced the new royal's birth on Twitter in a statement.

When the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge proudly introduced their baby son to the world on Monday following his safe arrival, William told reporters that they would "very soon" to hear the name chosen for the little Prince. We suspect the birth of her third child involved another big group of doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff.

The names of his siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, were announced two days after they born.

Prince William also appeared to drop a huge hint that the couple may have gone for another name.

Her visit came before gun salutes were fired in Hyde Park and Tower Bridge to mark the birth.
