Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt season 4 is set to premiere via Netflix in two parts.

The series was the first original half-hour comedy show that the streaming site premiered, and it became and an immediate classic. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt was created by Tina Fey (30 Rock) and Robert Carlock (30 Rock), who serve as executive producers with Jeff Richmond (30 Rock) and David Miner (30 Rock, Brooklyn Nine-Nine).

Season 4 hits Netflix on May 30. However, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt has a dedicated following and a quite consistent level of quality, especially when it comes to performances. Joining Kimmy on her journey are her best friend and roommate, Titus Andromedon (Burgess); her former-employer-turned-friend Jacqueline White (Krakowski); and landlord Lillian Kaushtupper (Kane). Although ending after four seasons seems like the series wasn't as popular as it is, Deadline reports that the cast and creators felt like it was time to conclude the story. Discussions are underway for the series to receive a wrap-up TV movie.

Despite today's news, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt fans might have a long while to wait until they see the comedy come to a close.

According to Deadline, the series will end its run on Netflix with the fourth season, which is split into two parts.
