'Avengers: Infinity War' continues to dominate, scoring second best weekend 2 ever

The total domestic gross of Avengers: Infinity War now stands at $450.8 million. "Star Wars: The Force Awakens holds the prize for biggest second weekend, with a mighty $149 million in 2015". The Avengers ($1.52 billion) now holds the record for the biggest global total for a superhero film.

Avengers: Infinity War casually crossed the $1 billion mark in worldwide box office sales over the weekend, and its dominance was further bolstered by one of the biggest second-weekend openings of all time. The scene doesn't appear in Avengers: Infinity War at all, but it is especially misleading since it includes the Avengers' green goliath, the Hulk, who only appears briefly and early on in the film.
