With AP Photos.Manchester City was kept scoreless for the first time this season in a 0-0 draw with relegation-threatened Huddersfield on Sunday, slightly puncturing the party atmosphere on a day its players lift the Premier League trophy.

Lossl nearly dropped the ball on the goal line as City stepped up their attacks after the restart, but David Wagner's well-drilled defence largely restricted the home side to hopeful crosses into the box.

He named a strong starting line-up that included all the regulars; Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva, Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane to name four. "20 players have never won the Premier League, a lot of staff and we are going to enjoy it".

Supporters were issued with blue and white flags to greet the champions as they were given yet another guard of honour on their way onto the field before kick-off.

When Kompany joined City in 2008, he could have barely thought that he would end up a three-time Premier League-winning skipper! Needing 7 points from the available 9 to be the first-ever team to break 100 points in the English top-flight, they only require one more win to set a new Premier League record.

England team-mate Raheem Sterling hit 18 Premier League goals in City's run to the title and he, like Stones, is a first-time Premier League victor - although he is already targeting more. It looks easy when you have to win games - next season it will be tougher.

He added, "Next season we'll start with zero but it's a good sign". Toure said. "After eight years of service I think it's the right time to move on and let the kids continue to take the responsibility".

Guardiola was frank about the player's importance to the side: "Yaya came here at the start of the journey".

Manchester City have already wrapped up the league title, but they are still eyeing a number of records in the league.

"We've had many players who have been on and off, and that has had no impact on the season whatsoever".

City host Brighton on 9 May before travelling to Southampton for the final game of the season.

Wenger was awarded Arsenal's golden "Invincibles" Premier League trophy as he bowed out.
