In a meeting of the reality-show minds at the White House on Wednesday, weight-loss lollipop peddler Kim Kardashian West and President Trump are going to put their heads together to tackle prison reform.

According to United States media reports, Johnson's conviction stemmed from her leading role in a multimillion-dollar drug ring that dealt thousands of kilograms of cocaine over a three-year period.

Kim Kardashian, the 37-year-old reality TV and pop culture icon, made an official visit to the White House on Wednesday, seeking a presidential pardon for a 62-year-old Alabama woman who is now serving a life sentence behind bars with no chance of parole for a first-time drug conviction.

Kardashian has pushed for months on social media for Johnson to receive clemency.

"She has a job waiting for her", Kardashian West said.

West also paid a visit to the then-president-elect in NY before his inauguration.

Kardashian is one of the very few celebrities who have visited the White House since Trump took office in 2016. The grandmother was given a mandatory life sentence plus 25 years in 1997 for her part in a cocaine distribution ring, her first offense. "Today is for you".
