SINGAPORE ― The historic summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is expected to stir up a media frenzy here.

Also, Singapore on Tuesday added its southern resort island of Sentosa to a special event area designated for next week's summit.

"The Nobel Peace Prize included a cash prize and we are offering funds from the prize to cover the costs for the summit, in order to support peace in the Korean Peninsula and a nuclear-weapon-free world", ICAN official Akira Kawasaki said.

"We feel like things are continuing to move forward and good progress has been made", Ms Sanders said.

The off-again-on-again meeting between Trump and Kim was originally announced earlier this spring and more officially put on the schedule last month for June 12 in Singapore.

According to North Korea's state-run Korean Central News Agency, "a ugly terrorists' group" directed by CIA and South Korean spies "ideologically corrupted" a North Korean dissident identified as "Kim" and paid the man more than $20,000 to carry out the attack.

"The next stage is multilateral participation of all the interested states, chiefly regional ones, in the development of security guarantees [for North Korea, ]" Putin said. "They're just excited; if we can make it happen, it's great", Hentschel said. "We're not paying for their expenses".

North Korea is reportedly interested in creating a step-by-step plan for denuclearization and Trump reportedly said he would be flexible, though he's been advised not to compromise. I think it's going to be a process.

"I am getting a lot of requests from Japan and Korea", said an executive from one of the five-star hotels in Singapore. "We are talking about the installation of a gas pipeline", the Russian president said.
