Courtney Hadwin, 13, has appeared on the American version of the TV show which showcases the various talents of the public.

From the first moment Hadwin began to sing, judge Simon Cowell was absolutely floored, and he had nothing but praise for the incredible songstress after her performance.

Launching into Otis Redding's 'Hard to Handle', Courtney left the judges and everyone in the crowd completely speechless - jaws basically dropped everywhere.

The latest Golden Buzzer was given out tonight on America's Got Talent! "And then you sing, and you're like a lion", Cowell marveled.

"You are not from this era", Mandel said at the end of her performance.

And Howie hits the Golden Buzzer putting Courtney straight through to the Live Shows.

A former McKinley High student has graduated from glee club to America's Got Talent.

The show, hosted by supermodel Tyra Banks, is on the lookout for acts of all ages, including singers, dancers, comedians, contortionists and impressionists, who are all vying to win America's hearts and $1 million.

She won the title of the Mail's Performer of the Year at the Best of Hartlepool Awards last year.

In 2018, she was a finalist on The Voice Kids UK, airing on ITV in the United Kingtom.

However, when it came time to actually audition, no one was expecting the kind of performance the shy teenage "AGT" hopeful was going to pull out.

She even made no-nonsense judge Simon Cowell, who is her favorite, smile from ear-to-ear.
